In a world without walls, who needs windows?
Some people live by the Serenity_Prayer. For the rest of us, there is A Prayer for the Stressed!
At night, I play on my assorted Linux boxes. All my machines run Slackware.
XEmacs is my editor of choice. I used vi for years at the start of my career and have done my time. Although, to be honest, I still use vi (specifically elvis) daily.
I also attempt to play the bass guitar.
My favorite movies.
I work for Pika
Technologies Inc.. The image to the left shows the
Majestic Pika in the wild. Pika
produces telephony boards for Linux and
Windows.
Pika was also home to some wild turkeys. We have moved since the picture was taken, although I don't think the wild turkeys forced the move....
I write the drivers that make the boards go.
I wrote the GoFish Gopher server and have it running at gopher://seanm.ca/. It is mainly just random silly stuff. The gopher impaired can see the same information at http://seanm.ca:70/ using GoFish's gopher to http gateway.
Need a gopher client? If you are going to use a 10 year old protocol, might as well use a 10 year old browser! Try out Mosaic.
Some spammer forged emails from the seanm.ca domain. Read about it here.
This is a list of some great software that didn't fit anywhere else. I won't list the obvious ones like gcc, cvs, xfree86, and Linux since they should be already installed on your computer ;-)
